About Jeffrey:  Jeffrey attained a B.S. in Finance & Economics from the College of Staten Island and a Master’s of Science in Taxation from Long Island University. He was an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach State College teaching individual and business taxes. 

He has been in the field of taxation for approximately 40 years having been in private full-time practice since 1999, and is a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist designated by the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers.

Jeffrey was the 2016 & 2017 NAEA Awards Committee Chair, a founding member of the NAEA Implementation Task Force on Education, co-chair of the NAEA Membership Committee, a member of the 2015/2016 NTPI Planning Committee and a past five term Chair of the FSEA Education Committee. He won the 2018 Top Practitioner award from the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (2018), the NAEA Excellence in Education (2014), Mentor of the Year (2014), and Excellence in Education Award given by the FSEA (2015, 2016, 2018).

Jeffrey has authored three books on taxation: “Now What? I Got a Tax Notice from the IRS. Help!”, “No What? The IRS is Taking Everything I own. Help!”, and “Now What? I want to Prepare My Own Return. Help!” He has been a featured author for the NAEA EA Journal, Treasure Coast Business Journal, and the National Association of Tax Professionals. He was honored to be selected and completed (2020) a three-year term with the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council.

Jeffrey is married to his wife, Ali, and they have two children residing in Palm City, FL.
